Israel has confirmed that it has carried out incursion inside of Syria.

Israel announced that it had conducted an operation to seize an individual with links to Iran inside of Syria. This is the first time since the beginning of the war against Hamas that Israel has acknowledged a ground operation taking placing inside of Syria. Israel has increasingly focused on cutting of Hezbollah from its Iranian supply lines so as to weaken the group even further.
