Israel’s military says ceasefire is back on as death toll from Gaza strikes reaches 104

Israel has said that a previously agreed ceasefire is back on after conducting air strikes.

Israel has announced that a previously agreed ceasefire deal is still in effect after carrying out strikes in Gaza. While peace talks with Hamas have continue, Israeli military operations in the West Bank and restrictions on aid into Gaza remain sources of international concern. Palestinian officials accuse Israel of using disproportionate force, especially in youth-heavy areas of the West Bank, and there are growing questions about the viability of a peace deal that addresses both Gaza and the West Bank.
