The main Serbian party in Kosovo will be allowed to run candidates for office.
The electoral appeals body of Kosovo has reversed a decision by the elections commission which banned the main Serbian ethnic party. The decision means the party will be allowed to run candidates in the upcoming parliamentary elections. The party had been banned due to its close association with authorities in Serbia. The party currently holds 9 of the 10 parliamentary seats reserved for the Serb minority.
