Israel has moved forward with an offensive to take control of Gaza City.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that the military will move to take full control of Gaza City. The Prime Minister has said that the government aims to defeat Hamas and free all remaining hostages. Protests have continued across Israel as many demand an end to the war. Several groups and countries have condemned the decision by Israel to take control of Gaza City.
