Additional police forces have arrived in Haiti to support on going operations.

200 additional Kenyan police officers have arrived in Haiti to support on going operations within the country. Haitian police and international forces have thus far been unable to restore order in the crisis ridden nation. Other nations in the region have continued to pledge their support for Haiti’s transitional government. They have also urged the United States to unfreeze aid for the country and increase its support for anti-gang operations.
