North Korea performed a ballistic missile test on Wednesday, shooting east.

On Wednesday, North Korea performed its first ballistic missile test in 5 months. South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff report that the missile was launched in an eastward direction and that it landed in the water. This is just days before South Korea is to be hosting the Asia-Pacific Economic Conference, where several world leaders will gather. Since 2019, Kim Jong Un has been increasing missile testing.
