Pakistan-Saudi-Turkey defence deal in pipeline, Pakistani minister says

Pakistan has indicated that a defence deal with Turkey and Saudi Arabia is possible.

Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey have drafted a trilateral defense agreement after nearly a year of discussions, although a final consensus among the three states is still required. The proposed pact is separate from an existing bilateral defense agreement between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan confirmed that talks occurred but emphasized that no agreement has yet been signed.
