Paraguay has reopened its embassy in Jerusalem.

Paraguay has formally reopened its embassy in Jerusalem following a ceremony with Israeli leaders. Paraguay had previously moved its embassy to Jerusalem in 2018, but the subsequent administration reversed that decision. Israel claims all of Jerusalem as its capital, but most nations and UN Resolutions recognize the city as being split between Israel and the yet to be created Palestinian state. Only, the United States and a small number of states operate embassies in Jerusalem.
