The Philippine Supreme Court has overturned the Vice President’s impeachment.

The Philippine Supreme Court has ruled that the impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte violated the constitution. They ruled that even thought the House of Representative only voted on one of the proposed impeachments, it still violated the constitution by considering more than one in a calendar year. The ruling means that the current impeachment effort will be halted.
