Several nations have said that the RSF is committing genocide in Sudan.

Foreign ministers from Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, and the UK said that violence by Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces in Al-Fashir bears “the hallmarks of genocide.” They concluded the RSF committed war crimes and crimes against humanity during the conflict. The countries plan to form a coalition to prevent further atrocities in Sudan.
