Russia blasts Ukraine’s power grid again, causing outages across the country and killing 3

Russia targets Ukraine’s energy grid ahead of winter.

Russia launched hundreds of drones and missiles in a sweeping attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, triggering blackouts across all regions. The strikes killed at least three people, including a 7-year-old girl, and injured 17 others, many of them children. Damage to centralized systems disrupted water, heating, and sewage services as temperatures drop. Poland responded by scrambling NATO aircraft and temporarily closing two regional airports.
