Russia bombs Kyiv after missile strikes in Ukraine’s south

Russian air raids over the weekend struck Kyiv and southern Ukraine, killing at least one and injuring three others. The attacks came shortly after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky criticized the U.S. for its lack of a strong response to Russian attacks on his hometown. The weekend’s attacks caused damage to civilian infrastructure in Kyiv. Russia has also claimed that Ukraine targeted Russian energy infrastructure this weekend, despite the U.S.-led negotiations pausing such strikes.
