Russian strikes kill civilians as Ukraine hits oil facilities.

A Russian drone strike on Odesa killed two women and a toddler and left an apartment building in ruins, with rescuers pulling survivors from the debris. Shelling and drone attacks also hit Kherson, Nikopol, and Kharkiv, injuring more people and damaging homes and infrastructure. Ukraine said Russia launched thousands of drones and glide bombs over the past week while also targeting the power grid, leaving hundreds of thousands without electricity. Kyiv continued its own long‑range drone campaign, striking the Novorossiysk oil terminal and other energy sites deep inside Russia.
