On Wednesday, a Russian bomb attack on Zaporizhzhia killed at least 13 civilians and injured around 30 others. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy posted footage on his Telegram page showing bloodied civilians lying in the city streets. Infrastructure was damaged in the strike, including high-rise residential blocks and an industrial facility. Ukrainian officials said that Russian forces purposefully launched guided bombs at a residential area in the city. While Russia has frequently launched similar attacks on civilian infrastructure throughout the war, it consistently denies civilian targeting. This attack came just a few hours after Ukraine’s military attacked an oil depot inside Russia.
