Rwanda and Congo have held their first meeting under the new peace deal.

Rwanda and Congo have held the first meeting of the new joint oversight committee. This committee was established to oversee the peace deal signed between the two countries to end years of war. The committee’s main goal is to oversee the withdrawal of Rwandan troops from Congolese territory.
