Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister has visited Lebanon for the first time in a decade. The visit comes as Lebanon is navigating a ceasefire with Israel and contending with the fall of the Assad Regime in Syria. The visits comes after Lebanon has elected its first President in two years. Lebanon has sought to reopen diplomatic and economic ties with Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states as it attempts to rebuild its economy.
