Serbia’s police fire tear gas as they clash with anti-government protesters in downtown Belgrade

Clashes between protesters and police have continued in Serbia.

Police and protesters have continued to clash across Serbia. Opposition groups have claimed that the government has engaged in brutality against them as police and party affiliated groups have attacked them. Opposition parties have demanded that the President resign from office. The EU and other rights groups have also expressed concern over the police’s tactics.
