South Korea’s acting President has been impeached.

South Korea’s acting President has been impeached by the National Assembly. The opposition party move for the impeachment after the acting President refused to appoint new justices to the Constitutional Court. The opposition party had pushed for all the seats on the Court to be filled before the trial of the President begins. The country’s Deputy Prime Minister will now serve as acting President.
