Pro-EU protests were held accross Romania as the country begins its final presidential vote. The run-off election between a centrist and far-right candidate is largely seen as a referendum on Romania’s continued relationship with the EU and NATO. Romania’s first attempt at a presidential election was nullified by the country’s highest court after it found that foreign government had interfered in the election.
