The UK has expelled a Russian diplomat as part of an on going diplomatic fight.

The UK has expelled a Russian diplomat in retaliation for the expulsion of two UK diplomats from Russia. Russia expelled the diplmats due to suspisions that they were invovled in intelligence gathering activities. Russia and western aligned states have been engaged in the expelling of diplmats for several years as conflicts around the Middle East and Ukraine have esclated.
