UN to deploy ceasefire monitoring mission in Congo, Qatar says

The deployment comes after both sides agreed on terms for a monitoring mechanism originally outlined in an October ceasefire deal. The effort occurs amid ongoing fighting, including recent drone attacks near Kisangani that may signal widening rebel operations.
