Germany’s Prime Minister Olaf Scholz has lost a confidence vote after his three party coalition collapsed. Early parliamentary elections are likely to be held in February. Scholz’s coalition collapsed after longstanding disagreements between the coalition members over how to stimulate the German economy lead to Scholz dismissing the finance minister.
