Nigeria to open two Chinese-backed lithium processing plants this year 

Nigeria has signed an agreement with to open lithium processing plants backed by China.

Nigeria has signed agreements to open two lithium processing plants with the backing of Chinese companies. The plants are expected to unlock hundreds of millions of dollars in mineral wealth. The agreements were signed as part of a set of recommendations to take advantage of the country’s natural resources.
