Trump rows back tariff threat to agree EU trade-talk extension 

U.S. President Donald Trump has revoked his threat to launch a trade war with the European Union, coming just two days after he had threatened to impose tariffs. On Sunday, Trump announced that the U.S. would extend trade negotiations with the EU to July 9, and the U.S. would also not impose a 50 percent tariff on imports from the EU. This latest announcement fuels uncertainty around U.S. trade policy, adding on to the unpredictability of Trump’s trade policy.
