Authorities said dozens more were injured, seven people remain missing, and nearly a thousand houses have been destroyed. Roads, farmland, wells, and businesses have suffered heavy damage, and major highways remain closed due to landslides. With more rain expected, officials warned residents to avoid rivers and flood‑prone areas.
