France’s former President is set to stand trial over corruption allegations.

Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy is set to stand trial related to claims of corruption related to his Presidential campaign in 2007. Prosecutors claim that Sarkozy accepted millions of euros in funds from Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi. Sarkozy has also been accused of intimidating witnesses. Sarkozy has been convicted in two other trials related to corruption.
