New information has led American officials to now believe that Iran is developing plans for a faster, cruder way to develop an atomic weapon. The intelligence warns that Iranian weapons engineers and scientists are looking for a quick way to develop an atomic weapon in just months if Tehran chooses to race for a bomb. U.S. officials currently believe that Iran has not decided to develop a weapon, but is considering new options to deter an attack by the U.S. or Israel. This intelligence is likely to be part of discussion on Tuesday between Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
