Japan: 120 kg of cocaine found washed ashore continues to befuddle local police

“Cocaine worth millions of dollars was found floating on the coast of Miura Peninsula in Kanagawa Prefecture last November 19. 120 kilograms, with an estimated value of 7.2 billion yen (approx. US$69 million), of the illegal drug was discovered inside six backpacks, which led the local police to believe that a major drug trafficking group is involved.”
