Lawyers for the detained South Korean President have said he will not respond to questions.
South Korean President Suk Yeol has asserted his right to remain silent and refused to answer questions during a 10 hour interview. Investigators with the Country’s anti-corruption are likely to request that Yeon be placed under arrest. Yeon has filed a challenge against the arrest arguing that the warrant was invalid. If Yeon is placed under arrest, he will still be allowed to attend the Constitutional Court’s hearing on his impeachment.
