European NATO members insist the US doesn’t leave them out of peace talks.

At a meeting of defense officials at NATO Headquarters, European defense officials insisted that the United States not leave them out of talks over the future of Ukraine. The US insisted it would not leave Europe out of major decisions. The US pressed NATO members to spend more on defense. The US was also questioned as to why it wasn’t holding itself to the same standard it wants other members to meet.
