NATO launches new Baltic Sea mission to protect undersea cables 

NATO has announced the launch of a new mission in the Baltic Sea region to protect undersea cables. Mark Rutte, NATO chief, announced the mission on Tuesday. The endeavor will involve maritime patrol aircraft, frigates, and a fleet of naval drones for surveillance. The launch of this mission comes after multiple high-profile infrastructure incidents over the past three years. Rutte stated that actors must understand that critical infrastructure attacks will not be tolerated by the alliance.
