Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has threatened to resume Israel’s war on Gaza if Hamas does not release its captives by Saturday. The Israel-Hamas ceasefire has been on the brink of collapsing this week after Hamas officials accused Israel of violating parts of the agreement. This prompted Hamas to halt the release of more captives, and Israel then demanded the release of these captives by Saturday. Netanyahu has blamed Hamas for violating the ceasefire and ordered the Israeli army to prepare to attack the Gaza Strip again.
