Early Tuesday morning North Korea launched multiple short-range ballistic missiles off the country’s coast. South Korea’s military reported that the missiles were believed to have been launched from the Jagang Province of North Korea. South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) is preparing for further missile launches and is strengthening its monitoring of North Korea’s activities. JCS condemned the launch and warned North Korea of additional provocations.
