The Philippines has offered to make a deal with China regarding their maritime border dispute.

The Philippine President has offered to remove a controversial US missile system from the nation if China stops its maritime aggression. China has not responded to this offer. The US deployed the Typhoon missile system to the Philippines in response to Chinese aggression in the South China Sea. The system is capable of launching missiles which can strike mainland China.
