Russia is rejecting claims that it is linked to fake bomb threats at polling locations in four key swing states in the U.S. election. Bomb threats at polling locations in Georgia, Michigan, Arizona, and Wisconsin were found to originate from Russian email domains. In Georgia, several of the polling stations under threat had to be briefly evacuated. The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) stated that none of the threats have been found to be credible. The FBI additionally said that Georgia received over two dozen threats. The Russian Embassy in Washington, D.C. said that accusations about Russian interference were “malicious slander.” Russia has been accused of interfering in multiple previous U.S. presidential elections.
