Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu visited a command post near the front lines in eastern Ukraine to discuss developments on the front. Russian forces have increased their attacks as fighting intensifies in advance of the harsh winter season. The visit also focused on preparations for combat in the upcoming winter and training of drone operators. Shoigu emphasized the importance of providing new winter uniforms and insulated footwear to all personnel before the temperature drops below freezing.
