President Trump said that he will not allow Palestinians to return to the Gaza Strip under his hypothetical plan to rebuild it. Trump plans to displace the almost two million Palestinians from Gaza and rehouse them elsewhere. Trump’s declaration that the U.S. will take over Gaza and resettle its population has attracted criticism from across the globe. Experts state that forced deportation or movement of a civilian population is a violation of international law and a war crime.
