Officials have announced that the U.S. and Ukraine have agreed to a minerals deal. As part of the agreement, Ukraine will turn over the revenue from some of its mineral resources to the U.S. The deal comes after an intense pressure campaign from President Trump. While the final terms of the deal are unknown, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had been pressing for security guarantees for Ukraine. Zelensky is expected to visit Washington this week for a signing with Trump.
