Renegade republican groups are posing a serious threat on both sides of the Irish Sea, security sources said Thursday after a bomb was found in London. The “Real IRA,” still a small offshoot of the mainstream Irish Republican Army but flexing its muscles in Northern Ireland, is opposed to the IRA”s cease-fire and current peace moves which it believes can only entrench British rule in the province.
