One day after KING5 News broke the story of a possible terrorist threat against the Space Needle, KING5 News has learned of a new warning from the government, raising concerns of a threat at nuclear plants across the country – including the Hanford Reservation in Eastern Washington. The government said the information is sketchy at best and comes from a captured al-Qaida terrorist being held at Camp X-ray at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. According to government officials, the prisoner said he had heard of a plan to fly a commercial jetliner into a nuclear power plant in the United States.
