PHILIPPINE security forces killed three communist guerrillas in Compostela Valley in Southern Mindanao, the military said on Friday. Separate reports by radio RMN and the Agence France-Presse said government troops from the 60th Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army ran into 20 members of the New People`s Army (NPA) on Wednesday, igniting a gunbattle that claimed the lives of three guerillas.
