Osama bin Laden`s eldest son, Saad, has taken over as leader of al Qaida, the suspected terrorist network, according to the London-based Arabic daily Al-Sharq al-Awsat. The paper on Monday quoted well-informed sources as saying they had received this information from recently captured members of al Qaida. The sources did not say where the militants were captured.
