South Korea plans to work together with other Northeast Asian countries including Japan and China to create a joint regional monitoring system against hackers and strengthen cooperation with Australia’s Computer Emergency Response Team. The Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) announced on Thursday that it will also form an anti-hacking team with 226 private computer security companies nationwide to promote combined efforts against hacking. The task force will coordinate between government agencies and private companies, which run many of the nation’s information networks, it said. Full Story
