The second round of talks aimed at finding a solution to the Darfur crisis in western Sudan has resumed in the Nigerian capital, Abuja, on Monday. The last round of the African Union-chaired negotiations ended in September with no results. The 20-month conflict in Darfur, which the United States has termed genocide, has displaced some 1.5 million people.
