The Bush administration is lifting a ban on the sale of certain military equipment to Indonesia. It is the latest step in restoring military ties between the countries. State Department spokesman Richard Boucher disclosed the policy change on Thursday, a day after President Bush met with Indonesia’s president, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, at the White House.
