A lunchtime suicide bombing Wednesday at a restaurant on an Iraqi military base killed 23 Iraqi soldiers and wounded 28 other people — mostly soldiers, police said. The base is in Khalis — just northwest of Baquba in Diyala province. Baquba is 35 miles (56 km) northeast of Baghdad. Full Story
