Presumed leftist guerrillas on Thursday killed three police officers in a mountainous area near the Galeras volcano in southwestern Colombia, authorities said. The attack occurred in a rural portion of Consaca, near the border with Ecuador, after somebody telephoned the police to say that rebels had set up a highway roadblock. Full Story
