U.S. President George W. Bush will seek unity with Asian leaders on North Korea in a tour of the region from Tuesday in which he will also reaffirm the U.S. alliance with Japan and press China for trade concessions. Bush arrived in Osaka, western Japan, on Tuesday evening and was to head by helicopter to Japan’s nearby ancient capital city of Kyoto, where he will hold talks on Wednesday with his close friend and ally, Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi.
