With preliminary tests finding no signs of anthrax at the workplace and home of a New York City hospital employee who died early Wednesday, investigators were trying to trace her recent movements to determine how she came into contact with the deadly spores. The 61-year-old woman’s death from inhalation anthrax was the fourth fatality in a month of bioterrorism, but the first in which authorities have been unable to pinpoint a source of infection.
