A BATTALION of battle-hardened Marines will be sent to Cebu on Thursday to provide additional security for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Summit in December. A Marine Corps spokesman said Wednesday that the 7th Marine Landing Battalion would be deployed in Cebu to strengthen security for the Asean leaders and delegates attending the three-day conference.
